Abi Olajwon has signed and will be playing for the WBA team this season, Chicago Sky.

SGV Alumni, Abi Olajuwon will return to the Sooner state as she was signed by the Tulsa Shock earlier today. Olajuwon played at Oklahoma from 2006 to 2010 and had her best year as a senior when she averaged 10.6 points and 7.3 rebounds on 50.6 percent shooting from the field on a team that made it to the Final Four.

Olajuwon was drafted with the fourth pick in the third round in the 2010 WNBA Draft by Chicago and appeared in six games for the Sky last season, averaging five minutes a game.

Alyson Lock
Alyson Lock is averaging 14.5 points a game leading Mark Keppel High School to an outstanding 10-1 record. She won League MVP as a Freshman.
 

Bonnie Samuelson
The 6-foot-3 junior led Edison (24-6) to the Southern Section Division 2AA semifinals while averaging 27.1 points, nine rebounds, 2.9 assists and 4.4 steals. She also shot 92% from the free throw line.

Her achievements off of the court, however, may be even more impressive. She has a 4.8 grade point average.

Brittany Kikuchi
Brittany Kikuchi is playing for the Academy of Art University in San Francisco for Stanford Alumni Lindsey Yamasaki. Brittany transfered from Cal State Monterey Bay where she played basketball for three years. Brittany is the daughter of Joe and Pauline Kikuchi and sister of Bailey Kikuchi.

Connie Ballesteros
Connie Ballesteros will be attending the University of Idaho next year.
 

Destiny King
Destiny is playing at Long Beach Poly HS, one of the top schools in the nation. She is currently scouted by many D1 and D2 colleges. Destiny is a Junior next year and an SGV alumni. She played on the National Championship team with Michelle Miller.

Emi Smith
Emi will be playing at the University of Denver this year, which is a D1 College. She was an McDonald’s All-American, First-Team All-League all four years, and twice named to the CIF First-Team. Emi won the 2006 CIF Championship and led her school to 3 CIF league titles in her tenure at Windward. Emi started playing SGV in the 4th Grade and finished in the 11th Grade.

Emily Tay
Harvard Senior Captain Emily Tay, a 3-time first-team All-Ivy League recipient, received the MVP award. Tay became the 13th basketball player at Harvard to record 1,000 points and moved into eighth on the all-time scoring list with 1,263 points.
 

Hana Asano
SGV alumni started all 32 games at point guard for UC Davis... Led team in assists (86), Finished 4th in Big West with 2.06 steals per game (66 total), and dished out season-best 9 assists with no TOs in season opener at Seattle (11/13)....

Jessica Duarte
Jessica Duarte has committed to Cal State Northridge and plays for powerhouse Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana. Jess is an SGV Alumni.

Keala King
Keala signed a letter of intent with Arizona State University. Keala was the guest speaker at the SGV Christmas Party. His accomplisments were: 1st Team All-CIF as a Junior. MVP of the SGV League
Varsity all 4 years, Nominated McDonald’s All-American Game, #1 Player in California,
#25 player in the country.
 

Keimi Lew
Keimi was the 2008-09 Whittier College Rookie of the year. She played in 24 games...averaged 4.9 points per game...totaled 117 points...totaled 28 rebounds...dished out 30 assists...collected 23 steals...shot over 30 percent from the field (34-111)...shot 62 percent from the foul line (41-66)...shot 23 percent from the three-point line (8-35)...averaged over 21 minutes a game.

Kelly Kika
Kelly Kika scored 17 points but La Verne University lost in their semi-final conference tournament game. Kika was a First Team All-CIF selection while at North High, also earning First Team All-League honors...set school records for most three-pointers in a game and season.

Lauren Sato
Lauren is a Pioneer All League 1st Team and El Segundo Varsity Most Valuable Player. In one game, Sato shot 17 of 30 from the floor, including six 3-pointers, and went 12 of 14 from the line in the record-breaking 52 point game against Marshall Fundamental. She has scored 30 points four times this season.

Margo Gupilan & Julia Tani
Margo Gupilan will be attending University of Buffalo (D1) and Julia Tani will be attending Western New Mexico (D2). Both girls from Bell Jeff High School.

Megan Musashi
Megan scored 5.5 points, grabbed 3.5 rebounds, and a 83% Free Throw pecentage for La Verne University.
 

Michelle Miller
Michelle Miller joined SGV in the 4th Grade and her team was in the final four 4 straight times and won the National Championship in her 8th Grade year.
She is currently the MaxPreps National #1 Freshman Scoring Leader with 25.2 points and won CIF All-State Freshman First Team, All-CIF Southern Section First Team, and Star News All-Area team.

Michelle Miller
Lead the state in scoring with 31.2 points per game, eighth-best and the best among all sophomores in the nation. She was the lone Californian to average 30 or more points per game. Michelle had double-doubles in all but six games and a triple-double in a 71-18 victory over Marshall, scoring 36 points and getting 10 rebounds and 10 steals and scored 40 points against Mayfield.

Michelle recently forwarded her verbal committment to the University of Princeton. Michelle works many of the Intensity, you can congratulate her!
 

Nicol Bisek
Nicol was a 4 year Varsity letterman, 2009 Rio Hondo League MVP, 2009 Rio Hondo League All-Star Team, 2009 All-CIF Div IV 2nd Team, an d set new SPHS record for rebounds. Nicol started playing basketball in Intensity at the 7th Grade and now playing at Kean University in New Jersey on a basketball scholarship.

Nicole Nesbit
Nesbit, the backup point guard for UCSB, has already become a game-changer in her first year and has provided the Gauchos with consistently solid play.

UCSB is 2-2 and Nesbit scored 12 points in her last outing.

Ryan Anderson
Ryan Anderson will be a senior this year at Long Beach Poly. He is 6 foot 7 inch and being scouted by most of the Pac 10 schools. Ryan is an SGV alumni
 

Stephanie Yano
Stephanie is attending UC San Diego this year. She played in 21 games his year as Freshman averaging 1.8 ponits a game.

Tim Wong & George Toyama
Tim Wong of Mark Keppel High School and George Toyama of Pasadena High School faced each other in the CIF Semi-Finals at Muir High School. Tim and George are only 2 of many SGV alumni playing this week.
